Hi! Im Amanda! I received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Michigan State University 2013. I began her career in nursing at a local hospital providing exceptional care to the inpatient population. I elected to pursue additional training specializing in aesthetic medicine in 2015. Yes. BOTOX has been extensively studied in hundreds of clinical trials and is FDA-approved for both cosmetic and medical uses.
Over time facial skin starts to lose elasticity and moisture, leading to the formation of lines around the nose and mouth, as well as loss of volume to the lips. Facial Filler such as JUVÉDERM or RESTYLANE is injected into these areas, to help smooth lines and folds as well as restoring moisture to the skin.
Your provider will discuss your areas of concern and customize a treatment plan right for you. Injections can take anywhere from 10-20 minutes. Results are immediate and can last from 6-18 months. Patients are encouraged to ice after the treatment to help reduce any possible bruising that may occur.
