The following conditions cannot be waxed: lupus, AIDS, in cancer therapy, herpes breakout, sunburned skin, over open sores, over irritated skin, over raised moles, over varicose veins, physician grade peel, over boils or infected ingrown hair.
The following factors can contribute to bruising, skin lifting or increased sensitivity: over dry skin, over moist skin, birth control, diabetes, hormone replacement, smoking, phlebitis, rosacea, excessive white willow bark products, exfoliation, caffeine, alcohol, light microderm or peel (wait 3 weeks), skin bleaching (wait 3 weeks), hair removers like Nair (wait 3 weeks), pregnancy.
Any infectious bacterial, viral, fungal disease or sores must be disclosed on check-in form prior to waxing so proper precautions can be taken.

Yes absolutely! However, you may experience more skin sensitivity due to the hormonal changes your body’s going through. Just let your esthetician know so we can ensure you are comfortable.
Sure can, as long as you wear a tampon. We wax people during their monthly flow all the time! Just keep in mind, waxing immediately before and during your period may be more painful.
